Certified NRA instructor in police pistol, rifle and shotgun.
I am a retired Federal Criminal Investigator, in 1972 I was transferred to Seattle and was exposed to the Renton bunker. The shooters there would not share their expertise and I was frustrated. Another shooter took me under his wing and I learned later that he had been world champion. I vowed at that time that I would be an advocate for any person who wished to learn the sport.
I was injured in the line of duty in 1979 and could not shoot again until 1986. I feel it is important to be inclusive of all who wish to learn the sport regardless of ability. It’s an honor to be able to participate in an Olympic sport.
